Michael has had extensive experience on the administrative side of the art world. Though it is extremely important to him that arts administrators are actively in touch with their inner artist, he has a deep appreciation for the many working parts that must come together for the art to ever be seen, heard, or experienced. He has seen art from many angles beyond those from the performer’s perspective, including project management, stage management, sound recording and live sound technician work, fundraising, database upkeep, teaching, some grant writing experience, and more.
